Boo Boo and Tai Boo visited for a couple days, and brought presents for the kids.

Took the kids to New Braunfels to visit Animal World & Snake Farm. They have a ton of snakes in their indoor exhibit, and then an interesting mix of animals outdoors, along with a big petting zoo. Colin liked these Burmese Pythons a lot, and wanted a picture with them.

Ciara liked the pigs a lot.

Ciara liked this pig a lot, then it plopped down in the mud and splashed her. She didn't like that too much :)

She recovered quickly, though, and then wanted to climb in after the pig.

The kids walked around outside holding hands.

Took the kids to the San Antonio zoo. Here is a mommy monkey holding her baby.

There was a butterfly display that the kids loved.

Ciara was looking across the water at a bridge, where Daddy & Colin were standing.

There is a really neat "beach" area for the kids. They had a lot of fun wading around and playing in the sand.

Petting zoo.

There were a couple really sweet baby lorikeets that wanted some attention. Unfortunately, while Colin and I were checking them out, a bee stung Colin right on the palm of his hand. That was his first bee sting, so it freaked him out quite a bit. There was a really nice zoo employee who came along and got us ice to put on his hand. That seemed to help it feel quite a bit better.

After the zoo, we took the kids to the river walk for some food and a walk.
