On Sunday we decorated the outside of the house.
We also finally started decorating the tree. Patrick and I put up all the breakable and delicate ornaments that night after the kids went to bed, and left the bottom of the tree bare so Colin could hang up the kids' ornaments.
After that, we drove out to Fredricksburg to check out their Christmas market. They had a tree display. Here, Colin and I are in front of the Aggie tree.
We got there in the late afternoon. We walked around the market then went to a playground that was behind the market. After that, we checked out some of the shops around town and grabbed dinner at a good German restaurant.
Once it was dark, we headed back to the market area to see all the lights. There was a Santa walking around, so Colin got to see him for the 2nd time that day. Once again, Ciara wanted nothing to do with him. She got upset when she saw him and kept her eye on him whenever he was close by, like she was afraid he was going to sneak up on her.
On the way home, we stopped in Johnson City to see their light display. This was around their electric company. The lights were really impressive.
Santa number 3! Johnson City also had Santa sitting in front of the electric company. So Colin got another picture. I got Ciara actually in the picture this time, but she wasn't that happy about it. Mrs. Claus started ringing a bell that distracted her a little bit, so we took a quick picture.
Sometimes when Ciara is sleepy, she will just lay down on the floor. Then Colin will sometimes lay down with her because he notices that we think it's cute when she does it.
We recently got a dancing game for our Nintendo Wii. The kids really love it! During the day, I will dance, and they will get on the 2nd mat and dance along with me. It's really cute!
